not the same, but works together
if you forgive, but have not forgotten spiritually, you have not forgiven. There are many christians who say, I forgive, but I will never forget. They who say this COMPLETELY DO NOT UNDERSTAND what forgive and forget is. Pay attention beloved to what is said before hand “if you forgive, but have not forgotten spiritually, you have not forgiven.” Forgetting spiritually is different from Forgetting physically, ofcourse physically a man will always remember because it is a memory; HOWEVER there is a spiritual forgetting that causes one to WALK forgetting physically IN THE GLORY OF THE SPIRIT. Let me repeat “HOWEVER there is a spiritual forgetting that causes one to WALK forgetting physically IN THE GLORY OF THE SPIRIT.” Beloved the Lord Jesus will not tell you to do the impossible, He knows our frame, we are but flesh before Him, we have thoughts, experiences, memories, we are in the flesh, we are human, naturally we will always remember a matter. SO WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO FORGIVE AND FORGET. IT MEANS TO BE PERFECT AS YOUR FATHER IN HEAVEN IS PERFECT. When the Lord, said He forgives, He gave grace and mercy, He holily choosed not to remember, by blotting out your sin against Him and remember your sins no more. He forgave you. NOW YOU MUST UNDERSTAND TO FORGIVE IS TO FORGIVE AND FORGET. Understand ye FORGIVE & FORGET. God is not telling you to do the impossible nature. He is telling you to do the possible spiritual nature. Let me repeat “there is a spiritual forgetting that causes one to WALK forgetting physically IN THE GLORY OF THE SPIRIT.” THE LORD JESUS WANTS US TO FORGIVE AND FORGET THAT OTHERS CAN SEE HIM IN US. Brothers and Sisters in the Lord Jesus, Forgive and Forget. I will emphasize this understanding one last time. When Jesus said forgive, Forgive means that we must forgive and forget. The forget that we are to understand is of a spiritual nature.
(IT IS A SPIRITUAL FORGETTING)
Now Forgetting isn't easy, but with Christ all things are possible. This takes serious Christ intervention, being transformed in His image. This is a closer look into what Spiritual Forgetting looks like: When you naturally remember and at that point of remembering but make the decision to forget and show grace, that is what spiritually forgetting looks like, because it is now the Spirit at work to make all things new. *for anyone who wants to read* it can be hard at first, but thank the Lord Jesus, not by might, nor by power, but by His Spirit.
This is a very controversial topic for many professing christians today, yet it is one of the most simplest topic to it’s understanding. Brothers and Sisters in the Lord Jesus, if you are one that still is in unbelief, I would rather charge you to take it to the Lord in prayer, I would love to give you an example, but again for your own growing because this is a very serious topic: I would rather charge you to take it to the Lord in prayer, ask Him if what I speak is of His truth, if I lie, let His hand be against me in Jesus name and I do not repent of these words. Beloved ask the Lord Jesus “what does forgive & forget mean?” even better if you want to learn more of His ways, ask the Lord Jesus to show you, teach you what does it mean to forgive and forget, He will give you experience if you are sincere (for any brother or sister who is humble in wanting to grow in God) ask Him to show you what does spiritually forgetting mean, with this answer; there will come a displeasure, be on the lookout, but more importantly, one cannot learn if self is not humbled, go humbly.
